Certified dentist

Viktors Besakirskis graduated with Honours from the Stomatology Department of the Riga Medical Institute (now – Latvian Medical Academy) in 1981. In 1982-1984 he served as a military dentist within the Ministry of Defence system. Since 1988, when Dr.Besakirskis set up his private practice, he has been specializing in dental photography, aesthetic teeth restoration, periodontal prosthetics, treatment of functional occlusion disturbances, treatment of temporo-mandibular joint disfunction, prosthetic dentistry and full oral rehabilitation.
In 2004, having completed an MBA course in RISEBA (Riga), Dr. Besakirskis received an MBA degree. This expanded the range of his interests to include, apart from pure clinical practice, marketing strategies, communication with patients, treatment planning, organization and management of full oral restoration projects.
Dr. Besakirskis also works as a lecturer and holds practical seminars and workshops on various aspects of Restorative Dentistry for dentists in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. In the course of his professional career Dr. Besakirskis has delivered a number of presentations at several international stomatology congresses and exhibitions held in Riga, Kaunas, Vilnius, Tallinn, Cologne and Moscow.
